Welcome to the Bigfoot Bed and Breakfast in the beautiful lake country of Northwestern Ontario, Canada. The oldest homestead in the district, the Bigfoot Bed & Breakfast is located just 8 kms (5 miles) north of the quaint village of Vermilion Bay and the Trans-Canada Highway and only 5 kms (3 miles) from the popular tourist destination of Blue Lake Provincial Park. The lodge has over 5 thousand feet of living space including 5 bedrooms with private and shared bathrooms and a comfortable lounge with library and a large fireplace.
The most popular bedroom at the Bigfoot is the master bedroom. Many of our guests have said that a night spent in this room has given them the most comfortable relaxing sleep they can remember; but also popular is the "haunted room", some of our guests have even claimed to have seen and felt the benevolent presence of Mr. Tuomi, the original Finnish homesteader.

The Bigfoot Camp has 155 acres of Northwestern Ontario wilderness and over 10 kms (6 miles) of marked and signed trails with benches and rest areas. Picnics are always a favorite with our extended-stay guests. As well as providing a picnic basket (watch for Yogi), we also include for the ones who so desire, a complimentary bottle of wine.
